THE STORY
In the once prosperous medieval Village of Celelot, the villagers are leaving. This is a crisis that must be solved. The King and Queen, after trying a number of ineffective approaches, seek Solutionists to help them with their problem.

Ultimately, the King and Queen engage Sir Vival, to undertake this quest. The characters along the way are both amusing and meaningful. You will be entertained by the Scribe whose task is to chronicle the events and you will be impressed by the wisdom of Sophie, although she does live in a tree. You will feel empathy for the Census Taker who dutifully counts (several times) the population to assess if the solutions are working. On this cleverly outlined journey, there are metaphors galore. You will meet many people you know along the way. They may be disguised in medieval garb, or armor, but you will know them because they work in your organization.

“This delightful fable delivers a mighty lesson on customer service. Joan Fox’s message translates effectively across any size employee base, and on every level. If you have customers, and want to keep your customers, you need to read this book.”
Catherine M. Myers, Senior Vice President, US Bank
